The Tayman family decided to convert what was originally an old adandoned church into a funeral home when the gold ran out in the mine.  It made sense, the vast number of bodies buried on and around the property made the grounds a veritable graveyard.

The funeral home operated successfully for many years, and its reputation brought more and more bodies to be buried.  Sometimes bodies had to be stacked up to wait their turn for a funeral.  Occasionally, bodies mysteriously disappeared.  Several people stated that they saw ghostly bodies walking around the area, looking for their graves.  Other people saw the ghostly beings try to escape burial because they did not realize they were dead.  Sometimes they tried to escape from the graveyard, and they had to be caught and returned by whatever means possible...the undead never rest until they have final peace.

Those who have gone to the funeral home tell tales of sights and events that include stories of spirits and other undead all through the funeral home. At times, it seems like they are all around, and at other times the seem to want to entice you to cross over to their own dark world, for they are forever trapped in the world of the undead for eternity.

Whatever you do, do not touch them. The spirits can steal your soul with a touch.
